Betsey was born in 1794.1   Betsey's father is Stephen Hodsdon and her mother is Anna Hodsdon.  Her maternal grandfather is Daniel Estes. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Stephen, James, Daniel, Anna, Theodocia, Susan, Lucy and Abigail.  She died at the age of 78 in 1872 in Unmarried, Bethel, Oxford, Maine.1
