Alden was born on June 22nd, 1816.1   Alden's father is Stephen Hodsdon and his mother is Huldah Hodsdon.  His paternal grandparents are Stephen Hodsdon and Anna Hodsdon. He had three brothers named Azuba W., Lyman and Hiram.  He died at the age of 17 on October 22nd, 1833.1
