Yita Shmiga

Yita was born in 1891 in Golub-Dobrzyn, Poland.¹ Yita's father is Moishe Hirsh Shmiga and her mother is Yenta. She was an only child. She died in the Holocaust at the age of 51 in 1942 in Warszawa, Poland.¹

- Ita Pieniek nee Szmiga was born in Dobrzyn Drweca, Poland in 1891 to Mojsze and Jenta. She was married to Dawid. Prior to WWII she lived in Dobrzyn Drweca, Poland. During the war was in Warsaw. Ita perished in the Shoah. This information is based on a Page of Testimony submitted on 14/04/1980 by her daughter.
