Rosmari was born in July 1930 in Brussels, Belgium.1   Rosmari's father was Joseph Pieniek and her mother was Ana (Chasza) Jaroszewska .  Her paternal grandparents were Meyer Moishe Pieniek and Miriam Reizel Berkerowicz; her maternal grandparents are Shimen Jaroszewsky and Sara Katz. She has two brothers named Ari Abraham and Vladimiro.  She is the oldest of the three children.
