Libush was born in 1932.  Libush's father was Heinich (Hanoch) (Henry) Pieniek and his mother was Ella Abromowitz.  His paternal grandparents were Yisrael Meyer Pieniek and Baila Konskovolsky. He had two brothers named Jakob (b. Heinich) and ?. He had a half-sister named Mirunia (Miriam).  He died in the Holocaust in Treblinka.
