Ruben Manela was born in 1842 in Hrubieszow, Lublin, Poland.1   Ruben Manela's father was Moszko Chajm (Chanina) Peniak and his mother was Chaja Ruchla Pak. He had a brother named Herszko Layb.  He died at the age of 1 in 1843 in Hrubieszow, Lublin, Poland.1
