Alexander was born in 1837 in Berwick on Tweed.1   Alexander's father was John  Sparkes (Carpenter) and his mother is <Unknown>.  He was an only child.  He died about April 28th, 1915 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on May 1st, 1915 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  He was buried on May 1st, 1915 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.2 3 4
