Thomas was born about June 1770 in Barking Essex and his christening took place on June 27th, 1770 at St Margaret's Barking.1  Thomas' father was William £100 Skinner and his mother was SarahSusanna  Dowset.  His paternal grandparents were Ambrose Skinner (of Longbridge) and Ann Pittman. He had two brothers named William and John.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died on May 3rd, 1853.  The funeral took place at St Margaret's  Church Barking.2

Thomas and Amey were married in a religious ceremony on February 23rd, 1829 at St Mary Magdalene Woolwich Kent witnessed by Robert Pinney - Samuel & Mary Seabrook.3   There are no children.
