Martha was born about December 1746 in Barking Essex and her christening took place on February 17th, 1746 at St Margarets Barking.1  Martha's father was Ambrose Skinner (of Longbridge) and her mother was Ann Pittman.  Her paternal grandmother was ANN (of Longbridge). She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Ambrose, William, Thomas, Elizabeth, Sarah, Ann, Ann, Catherine, Mary and Elizabeth.  She died on March 9th, 1799 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on April 11th, 1799 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.  She was buried on April 11th, 1799 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.2 2
