Jacob was born on November 12th, 1826 in Barking Essex.  Jacob's father was Mr Isaac born  Woolwich Kent Bull (Fisherman) and his mother was Martha Ann Dunsdon.  His paternal grandparents were Isaac of Woolwich  Bull (Fisherman) and Mary Farrant (BIRTH GUESS); his maternal grandparents were Charles Richard Dunsdon (Fisherman) and Martha Bowman. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Isaac, Charles, John, Martha and Eliza.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 79 on August 10th, 1906 at 87 North St Barking Essex England.

Jacob and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on February 2nd, 1851 in All Saints West Ham witnessed by Charles Barnes & Sarah Barnes. They had four sons and three daughters, named Jacob, Arthur, Frederick, Edwin, Elizabeth, Grace and Louisa.
