Martha was born on November 25th, 1819 in Granville, NC.  Martha's father was Wiley P. Mangum and her mother was Mary McSwain.  She was an only child.  She died about 1856 in Harden, TN.



Martha's family

Martha and William G. were married in 1862 in Lauderdale Co., Alabama.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Josiah Mattson Calvin "Joseph", Andros and Mary.
