William KNIGHTON

William was born on May 16th, 1828 in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, England. William's father was George KNIGHTON and his mother was Catherine WRIGLEY. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah KNIGHTON and Frances JOHNSON. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Henry, George, Harriet, Mary, Jemima, Georgeania and Selina. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 40 on March 17th, 1869 in Staten Island, New York, USA.
