    1790 US Census for SMC, MD incls a Joseph WALKER Sr. as head of h/hold w/4 white males over 16, 1 white male under 16, 3 white females and 1 other free person  (see image, rt side,btm) (4130-).  (Fran W-L notes 11 slaves.)
    
    Same page has h/hold of a Joseph Ju[nio]r WALKER w/2 white males 16 years and upwards, 5 white males under 16 years, and 2 white females; no "other free persons" and no "slaves" (252--).  On same page are James WALKER Ju[nio]r 1-3-1, John WALKER 1-1--, and, James WALKER Se[nio]r 124--.  (Records are listed roughly alphabetically.)
