    Mary Ann Wade:  Evan Watkins wife Sophia Wade died, so he was left $1 in John Wade's will.
    
    (...) There is a cemetery
    located in New Madison, Darke County, Ohio, which is close to Preble County. The First Universalist Church is located on East Washington Street with the cemetery lying directly behind the church.  The oldest burial (taken
    from the tombstone inscription) is Sophia Wade, daughter of John and Martha Wade died 10-15-1821  "Age about 18 years"  Can't prove it, but I think this is our John Wade Junior and family.

    Wade, Sophia Watkins, Evans 17 Jan 1793 Kentucky Washington County
    
    Longtime Wade family researcher Mary Ann Wade confirms that this is the correct marriage.
