Martha "Patsy" WADE

  • Mary Ann Wade:  Anyway, Martha "Patsy" Wade, daughter of Drusilla Wade, married William Mansfield, half-brother of Henry Bozworth  (Drusilla Wade"s husband).
    
    (...) Drusilla Wade married Henry Bozworth in Washington County, Kentucky, November 20, 1792.  Before her marriage to Henry, Drusilla had a daughter, Martha "Patsy" Wade.  She is not to be confused with Drusilla's sister by that same name (Mary Martha "Patsy" Wade who married Robert Harding.)  Martha Wade married Henry Bozworth's half-brother William Mansfield in Washington County, Kentucky, January 30, 1800.  They all moved to Preble County, Ohio.  Drusilla Wade Bozworth's granddaughter Phoebe Jacobs Utterback wrote a genealogy paper, February 1, 1800 gving her great grandmother's MAIDEN name as HARDEN.  Mrs. John Harden Wade was not mentioned in her husband's will, because she probably died when the family moved from VA/PA to KY.

    My grandfather's name was Samuel Jacobs, and he was a Revolutionary
    soldier.  My grandmother's name was Elizabeth, and her maiden name was
    Martin.  My great grandmother's name on my father's side was Bougus
    (that was her maiden name).  My father's name was Milburn Jacobs.  My
    grandfather's name on mother's side was Henry Bozworth, and my
    grandmother was Drusilla and her maiden name was Wade.  Her mother's maiden name was
    Harden.  My mother's brother's names were John and Joseph, and her
    sisters were Patsy, Mary, Nancy, Sophia, and Susan.  Patsy husband's name was William Mansfield, Sophia's man's name was Samuel King, Mary's was John Sheffer, Nancy's was Peter Keesling, Susan's was Austin Jacobs (he was a nephew of my father).  My father's brothers were Bennet, James, Martain (Martin).  His sister's names were Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth, Phebe, and Nancy.   Mary married Martin Crim and Sarah married Moses Crim.  Elizabeth married William Crauley (Cralle).  Phoebe married William Gee, and her second husband's name was Charles (Dyre) Dyer.
