Mary CLARKE

Mary was born on December 27th, 1680. Mary's father was Joseph II CLARKE and her mother was Bethiah HUBBARD. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph I CLARKE and Margaret LNU; her maternal grandparents were Samuel HUBBARD and Tacy COOPER. She had a brother named Samuel. She died at the age of 80 in 1760.

- On her mother's side, Mary was the granddaughter of Samuel Hubbard and Tacy Cooper who were the founders of the Seventh Day Baptist Church in America.

  Mary (Clarke) Champlin was baptized, and under laying on of hands was admitted into the Seventh Day Baptist Church on May 10, 1708.
  
  In his Will (dated October 5, 1725 and proved at Westerly on February 27, 1727) Mary's father Joseph left Mary a bed, bedding and 5 pounds.
