  The 1910 census shows an Isabella Gray living with a niece and nephew, Christina and Arthur Shaw, whose mother was born in New York.  It seems likely that these are the children of Sarah Maria as she is the only female sibling I have for Isabella and she was born in New York.  This is now conformed by the IGI Civil marriage record of Sarah Maria.
  
  Basically, Michael Shaw and Sarah M> Gray are dead by 1900 and the kids, Isabella, Christina, Arthur are living with Josiah Foote - an uncle by marriage, I would guess.  There is also a Batty living with them who must be related to Michael's mother who was a Batty.  I think, also, that Michael was previously married in Scotland to someone else - thus James Shaw who was born in 1879.  Time will tell.
  
  This generation is too early for Social Security records.  The deaths are from Italiangen.org which is the only place you can find deaths in NYC at this period online.
