Thomas Gordon 
Thomas was born in 1808. Thomas' father was Thomas [1858-TheMeen,Plots 25&26] Gordon and his mother was Catherine Carmichael. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, George, Robert, James and Nancy. He died at the age of 62 on May 18th, 1870 in Lislea.Death Notes

General Notes
The evidence for this man being the older brother of my John Gordon is, first, he gave The Maine as his address in his wedding entry for 1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church and second, his children use the same family names as my John - Thomas, Jane, Catherine and Nancy. And third, two of his children are given as being born in "The Maine, Lislea"! And fourth, he is referred to as Thomas Gordon Jnr. in the baptism record of two of his children.
Confirmation of the above came on 24th July 2010, when Margaret Knox told me that she knew a Minnie and a Tom ad a Hugh Boyd, all unmarried, all from Lislea, who were supposed to be connections of ours - and then BB sent me the data showing that they were indeed children of a Jane Boyd who was the daughter of Thomas Boyd of The Maine!!!!
