Why a Thomas Gordon Cooke?  Now that is spooky.  John Cooke calls his third son for his sister's father in law, or brother in law.  Is that possible or likely?  Perhaps he was very friendly with the younger Thomas.  One man from Lislea and one from Dullaghy.  Oh, and Thomas Gordon in turn called a daughter Nancy - his brother's wife's name.  Maybe these three couples were all very good friends.  Aaaannndd, stranger and stranger, this Nancy marries a John Gilmour from - yes, you guessed it, from Boveedy!!!!  All very incestuous - and so fascinating.  This is why we do genealogy!
