The Boyd comes from Civil Records Index and Pilot.
She should not really be called Boyd as she is not in the same line as my Great Great Grandmother, Mary Boyd. Mary Boyd was her father's brother's wife's mother. This means either I have her line wrong - perhaps Eliza Jane Brown - which would mean i have my own line wrong, or else it is descended from a different Boyd in a different line - after all, she was the third daughter. Or she was named for a friend or a minister.
