2.Elizabeth McMurtry,sister,62, also a school teacher, widowed and with same info as above.

BB: Rev John Gage Boyd was a minister of the Original Secession church -= THAT is what I was wondering about!!  I don't know if symington was OS but here in 1901 he is in Roxburgshire.

He died in 1947 in Scotland and his wife was a Minnie Reid.  They had one daughter born in 1909 - Annie Elizabeth Gage Boyd.

William and Thomas' brother was Rev John Gage Boyd of Symington Parish Church.  This is probably John Gage Boyd's namesake.  John Gage Boyd's dates are 1908-1981, dying in Media, PA.
You will have to check out this site and go visit this church, I think.  I wonder if there is a photo of him, too!!  Does Ringland look like John Gage Boyd of PA??  Do we even have any other Boyd photos?
