Catherine/Kathleen's father was Alfred Edgar Boyd and her mother was Margaret (Boyd) Elizabeth Archibald. Her paternal grandparents were John [Cullycapple] Boyd and Jane McAlister. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Ringland, Alfred, Unknown, William, Eleanor Beatrice "Bea", John, Aileen, Mary, Anna and Margaret. She died at the age of 70 on October 6th, 1982.
