DR. RICHARD TURNER Dr. Richard Turner, formerly York, has died at Edinburgh, in his 84th year. Dr. Turner, who was son the late Mr. John Turner, of Ratho. Midlothian, was educated Edinburgh University. He was hon. consulting medical officer of York County Hospital, and during the last war worked for four years a V.A.D. hospital and a military hospital at York medical officer (civilian). He was the author of descriptive catalogue of the geological collection in the Chambers Institute, Peebles.
