William Wray & Eliza C. Chittick

William and Eliza were married in a religious ceremony on June 10th, 1869 in Philadelphia by Reverend Sam E. Applebox (?).¹ They had three sons, and also a child of unknown gender named William, Annie, Samuel and Wray.

  She died due to a medical problem, stomach trouble, at the age of 55 on November 29th, 1905 in Whitemarsh. The funeral took place on December 2nd, 1905 in Whitemarsh. She was buried on December 2nd, 1905 in Whitemarsh.⁴⁵⁵

      Janice Bennett checked their indices of marriage announcements, to see if there had been one for William Wray and Eliza C in the 1860's and there wasn't any listing in that index. The HSMC's index only pertains to announcements that were published in the Norristown newspaper. There was no death notice for Elizabeth Wray in 1905, but there was some mention of Eliza C. Wray's death (date of death, 29 November 1905; date of publication, December 1).
