George Chittick Wray

George was born on June 18th, 1875 in Pennsylvania and his baptism took place there on November 28th, 1875 conducted by Reverend Samuel E Appleton.^1 2   His godmother was Mary Chittick.

George's father was William Wray and his mother was Eliza C. Chittick.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Alexander Wray and Rebecca Steen; his maternal grandparents were John Chittick and Jane Devitt. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, Samuel and Annie.  He was the second youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 1 on July 6th, 1876 in Pennsylvania.  He was buried in Montgomery County.^3 1
