From Alexa McBarron in response to the photographs I [Duncan Robertson] sent her:
"My mum recognized the name Stratis straight away, she is sure that Mary
McBarron married a Stratis, and she also recalls the name Randy. She knows
Marys husband was Greek and they had a son Andrea who was in the airforce &
died in WWII - we have a card sent to granddad, from Mary stating Andrea's
name is on a memorial in Lincoln cathedral. Randolph looks as if he could
be greek and one theory is that maybe Annie took him as a child and he ended
up marrying Mary -what do you think?"
He died at the age of 75 in 1987 in
Wales.
