William (Andrea) Andrea Stratis

William, known as Andrea, was born in 1918 in Cardiff.¹

Andrea's father was Simon Stratis and his mother was Mary Frew McBarron. His maternal grandparents were William McBarron and Annie Robertson. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Randolph, George, George, Randolph, Dorothy and Chariclea. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died as a war casualty at the age of 26 on June 6th, 1944 in France.¹
