Samuel Wray

Samuel was born in 1840 in Ireland.¹

Samuel's father was Samuel Alexander Wray and his mother was Rebecca Steen.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Wray and Elizabeth Dun; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Steen and Janey Campbell. He had a brother and two sisters, named William, Margaret and Catherine.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died due to a medical problem, Rhematic fever, duration 18 days, at the age of 42 on April 12th, 1882 in Port Glasgow.  He was buried on April 14th, 1882 in Port Glasgow.^2 3
