Sara was born on October 12th, 1798 in Mauchline.1  Sara's father was Alexander Fraser and her mother was Isabella Adamson.  Her maternal grandparents were John Adamson and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Alexander, Agnes and Mary.  She was the oldest of the five children.
