Janet was born on April 9th, 1732 in Mid Calder.1  Janet's father was John Flint and her mother was Helen Laurie. She had two sisters named Elizabeth and Margaret.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 85 on December 12th, 1817 in Kirkliston.  She was buried in Kirkliston.1
