Robert Bruce of Kinnaird

Robert's father was Rev Robert Bruce (of Kinnaird) and his mother was Martha Douglas. His paternal grandparents were Sir Alexander Bruce and Lady Jane Livingstone; his maternal grandparents were Sir George Douglas and Marion Douglas. He had a sister named Jean. He died in 1645.

Death Notes
- Slain at Naseby, fighting for King Charles I. He was followed by his elder son Robert.

  Robert, 2nd of Kinnaird succeeded his father in 1631. He married Margaret Menteith of the Kerse family. They had two sons - Colonel Robert and Alexander.
