Howard, known as Mac, was born on November 29th, 1923 in Sarles, North Dakota.1   Mac's father was Hector McLean and his mother was Alta. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Wayne, Dora and Anita.  He died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 78 on November 21st, 2002 in Belgrade.  The funeral took place at the Mount Si Memorial Cemetery and was arranged by Flintofts (Issaquah).  He was buried on January 31st, 2002 at the Mount Si Memorial Cemetery.1 1
