Elizabeth Betty Zane

Elizabeth Betty was born on July 19th, 1759 in Moorefield, Virginia. Elizabeth Betty's father was William Andrew Zane and her mother was Nancy Anna Nolan. Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Zane and Grace Jane Rexstrew Rakestraw. She had six brothers named Silas, Ebenezer, Jonathan, Andrew, Isaac Great White Eagle and Elizabeth Betty. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 64 on August 23rd, 1823 in St. Clairsville, Belmont Co., Ohio.
