Christopher was born in 1860.  Christopher's father was Jacob Yeck and his mother is Katharine Brouder. He had five brothers and a sister, named Jacob, Nicholas, John, Robert Leopold, Audy Andrew Alexander and Annie.  He is the second oldest of the seven children.
