William Tankersley

William was born about 1742. William's father was Richard Tankersley and his mother was Elizabeth Fountain. His paternal grandparents were Richard Tankersley and Margaret Rowland; his maternal grandparents were James Fountain and Lucretia Desjarrie. He had three brothers named Rowland, Richard and George Edward. He was the youngest of the four children. He died about 1768.
