Catherine was born about 1792. Catherine's father is Samuel Swearingen and her mother is Mary Wilson. Her paternal grandparents were John Swearingen and Catherina Mary Stull. She had three brothers and six sisters, named John, Thomas, Henry, Sarah, Elizabeth, Drusilla, Ann, Polly and Jemima. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died about 1874.
