Marie Lou was born about 1848 in Wisconsin.  Marie Lou's father is Joseph Montour I and her mother is Angelique Barette Barrett (1/4 Medawahkanton). She has three brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Sylvester, Charles, Amelia Emily and Josephine.  She is the fourth oldest of the six children.
