John Martin

John was born on October 20th, 1781. John's father was Brig. Gen. Joseph Longknife TRADER Martin (LongHunter) II and his mother was Susannah Onodutu married Fields Stewart Martin Emory (Ani'-Gil�'hi = Twisters, Braids, or Long Hair Clan (Mary Grant)). His paternal grandparents were Col Joseph Immigrant Martin Gent and Susannah Giles Childs>>?? Chiles; his maternal grandparents were Col William Emory (Cherokee) and Mary Grant (Ani'-Gil�'hi = Twisters, Braids, or Long Hair Clan (Mary Grant)). He had a sister named Rachel Sabra. He had fourteen half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Jesse, Thomas, William, Brice, Samuel, Samuel, Oo-no-du-tu Bushyhead, Bushyhead Oo-no-du-tu Stuart Stewart, Richard KlauGas Texas Dick, George, George, John, Turtle, Nancy Ward, Elizabeth and Lucy. He died at the age of 58 on October 17th, 1840 in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
