Jose di Mello Machado Marshall

Jose di Mello Machado was born on August 7th, 1897 in St. Michaels, Azores. Jose di Mello Machado's father is Augusto Machado and his mother is Adelina Caloura. He was an only child. He died at the age of 52 on December 4th, 1949 in Somerville, Mass.

  I am looking for information on the ancestors of Jose di Mello Machado, born August 7, 1897 in St. Michael, Azores, died December 4, 1949 in Somerville, Massachusetts. He married Judith Gloria Couite, born October 4, 1901 in St. Michael, Azores.
  Jose's parents were Augusto Machado and Adelina Caloura, born in St. Michael, Azores. Judith's parents were Manuel A. Couite and Maria Teieira. Note: The person who made this genealogy chart might have been confused. I have a feeling that Caloura and Teieira (maybe Terceira?) were places in the Azores, not last names. I don't know much about the Azores, but I have spotted the island Terceira in several messages.
  Jose Machado changed his last name to Marshall sometime before 1930.
