Joel Marshall

Joel was born in 1837 in Arkansas. Joel's father was John Jack Hood Marshall and his mother was Elizabeth Isabella (Betsey) Keith. His maternal grandparents were John Birden (Bird) Keith and Polly Ann (Tildy) Crane. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Emily Maranda Milley, William Andrew Jackson, John, Wisdom Abijah, George Baine Baines, Darcus, Mary Jane, Salinda Catherine and Elysian Elyse Fields. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
