James L's father was Rev Robert Pvt in Rev War MORE THAN ONE WIFE?? Marshall and his mother was Jane Jenie Vance. His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Col Samuel VANCE"S FORT Vance and Sarah Bird Boyd Byrd Baird. He had three brothers named Samuel Vance, Joseph Glass and Robert Glass. He died in May 1834.
