John's father is Robert  Chief Jolly Jaulee Due Dewes and his mother was Wur-teh  Wurtagua Molly Running Wolf Watts (Ani'-Wo-Di = Paint Clan).  His maternal grandparents were white trader John Tarchee aka Dutch Watts and Oousta. He had a brother named John  YOUNG TASSEL  TAHLONTSKESKEE TAH-LON-TEE-SKEE. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Sogwali Sequoyah  Sikwo-yi George Gist, Thomas     Guest Gist, Richard     Guest Gist, Robert, Maria Cecil  Guest Gist and Lucy.  He died in 1838.
