Susanna Flowers

Susanna was born on April 15th, 1772 in Bladen Co., NC. Susanna's father was Ignatius Flowers and her mother was Susannah Gray. She had a brother and a sister, named Goldsborough Goldsbury, or Goldsberry and Sarah. She is the second oldest of the three children.

  No relation to any Yates, but near my home in Webster Co., MS, in old pre-Civil War cemetery are graves of John Yates(3/23/1767-2/2/1869) and Susan Flowers Yates (12/02/1869-08/07/1889), married Braden Co., N.C. 1790. The 1860 census for Choctaw Co., MS (part of which is now Webster Co.) lists John Yates as 89, farmer, born in NC; Susan Yates, 47, household mistress, born in GA. I have more info.
