        Immediately below is common descent for Wilton, Janet, and myself through
        various branches that happen with the 2 marriages of (Major) Samuel EARLE, III
        and 1st wife, Anna SORRELL, and 2nd wife, Elizabeth HOL(D)BROOK.
    
        I don't have my main computer and main files set up right now so I am not
        going to attempt all of the dates on the first generations here before
        immigrant, (Sir) John EARLE, Sr.

        Westmoreland Co., Virginia, immigrated in 1652 from England along with his mother,
        Mrs. Mary SYMONS EARLE, and 2 of his 3 siblings, Mary and John, while
        brother, William, stayed in England to finish his education, and 1st wife, Bridget
        HALE(S,) born: 1641 in Northumberland/ Westmoreland County, Virginia, died:
        1659 in Northumberland/Westmoreland County, Virginia, (Samuel later married
        2nd wife, Mat(t)ilda ALLERTON, as her 1st husband, and she later married 2nd
        husband, William RUST, and then married 3rd husband, John BENNETT, believed
        to be the father of Phillis BENNETT who married Samuel EARLE, II, son of
        Bridget HALE and Samuel EARLE, I. Samuel EARLE, I was the land grant partner of
        (Major) John STITH and Samuel EARLE, I also owned land adjoining that of
        Augustine WASHINGTON, father of (General and future President) George WASHINGTON
        who was earlier elected as a Member of the House of Burgesses from Frederick

        were during the Revolutionary War. He was the brother of John JENNINGS, Jr.
        who married Virginia EARLE who was the sister of this Kitty EARLE.) Bailey
        JENNINGS later married 2nd wife, Mrs. Sarah "Sally" LEA LEE, (widow of William
        LEE, son of Needham LEE, Sr.)
