President Jefferson Confederate States of America Davis

Jefferson was born on June 3rd, 1807 in Fairview, Christian co. KY. Jefferson's father was Samuel Emory "Emery" Davis and his mother was Jane Cook. His paternal grandfather was Evan Davis Jr and his paternal grandmother is Mary Emory; his maternal grandparents are Col William Cook and Sarah Simpson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Joseph Emory, Samuel, Amanda Jane and Mary. He died at the age of 82 on December 6th, 1889 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
