    Hi. I have been looking for any info on the identities of Ruth Raulston's parents too. She and Marshall P. Coleman were my ggg grandparents on my mom's side of the family. I have gone to Family Search.org and there I learned that quite possibly Ruth's father could have been a George Raulston, but that site didn't identify which George Raulston it was or who her mother was either. I am very new at genealogical research, so I hope that you could possibly offer some information on them. There were a lot of large Raulston families living in VA and TN in the 1700's and early 1800's, so it is hard to say which George Raulston was Ruth's father. Also, somewhere I learned that Marshall Coleman's mother (Nicee Marshall)was part Indian. Do you have any information on her? Thank you for any information that you might offer about these ancestors.
