William Preston Cloyd

William Preston was born on February 5th, 1811. William Preston's father was David Cloyd and his mother was Sarah Marshall. His paternal grandparents were John Bartholomew Cloyd and Margaret Scott; his maternal grandparents were Gilbert poss N Marshall II and Martha Roan ROANOKE??? Rowan. He had four brothers and a sister, named Gilbert Marshall, Ezekiel, James Marshall, Elizabeth Eliza Jane and Margaret Scott. He was the fifth oldest of the six children.
