Sophia Brashears

Sophia was born in 1797 in Halifax Co, VA. Sophia's father was Zadock Brashears and her mother is Susannah Vaughn (Choctaw). Her paternal grandfather was Jesse Brashears and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Prather; her maternal grandparents are Thomas Vaughn and Winifred (Choctaw). She has a brother and two sisters, named Jesse, Delilah and Ann. She is the youngest of the four children.
