Alice Rosier Tinkler

Alice was born in 1886 in Grantham, Lincoln, Lincolnshire.¹ Alice's father was Tom Tinkler and her mother was Eliza D Rosier. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Swithin Tinkler and Jane Ogden; her maternal grandparents were Charles Rosier and Ann Plummer. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Albert, Alfred, Bertie, George, Edith, Jane, Lilian, Ruth and Jessie. She was the third oldest of the ten children.
