Countess Adelheid of Anhalt-Ballenstedt

Adelheid was born in 1045 in Ballenstedt, Anhalt, Germany.¹   Adelheid's father was Count Esiko of Anhalt-Ballenstedt and her mother was Mathilde of Anhalt-Ballenstedt.  Her paternal grandparents were Adalbert von Ballenstedt and Countess Hidda of Lusatia. She had a brother named Adalbert.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died at the age of 55 on March 28th, 1100.¹
